Meet Jessica F

Today’s “Meet the Model” is Jessica F. I had written Jessica long ago about a shoot. She blew me off. I was crushed. She said she didn’t get it, but I don’t believe her  Either way, fast foward a year…

As you may or may not be aware, there was a “professional” photographer who was commissioned to shoot the Olympians. What an honor this must have been for said “professional” The end results of the photos themselves? No where near close to professional…

Old school Friday: Dani

Dani was the first model I shot (you’ll meet her soon on Meet the Models) Keeping true with the Old School Friday, these photos are terrible lol. Everything from connection to execution. Holding true to this category’s theme, I wish I could shoot her TODAY to compare.

Meet the Models: Audrey

I first met Audrey on Facebook. She was a friend of a friend and I loved her look.

She listed on her Facebook page that she was Brazilian, so I sent her a message that said “você muito bonito!” I never got a response from her so I didn’t know if I offended her by telling her “You’re very pretty”

Old School Friday kick off!

One of the new things I’m introducing is “Old School Friday”. The purpose of this is to show everyone that not everything I’ve taken is publication worthy or sponsor pleasing.

Meet the Models: Danielle

Meet Danielle. I was still “New” to Colorado and had shot a few people. Right around the time I exploded on to the Colorado market, I had shot a friend of Danielle’s. Danielle had contacted me and wanted to shoot, but she was…

Shooting the sexy stuff

Often when talking to other photographers, they say to me “How do you shoot the sexy stuff?” When I ask them to expound on the sexy stuff, they typically mean the nude or implied nude stuff.

This is when I get to hop up on my soap box and tell them;

“Sexy is defined by the client, not me”
