AMAZING video regarding models and agencies wanting things for free. I know this is a digital era and the cost is down for photos, but the cost is WAY high learning how to get your craft to a point to where it has value. Models, don’t devalue yourself by expecting things free. The way the game works is you PAY or do whatever it takes to get a free shoot with someone who is good. Take those photos and use it to get paying gigs.a
Another photo post from outdoors. This summer, I’ve spent more time outdoors than any other year. I enjoy it cause I learn something new every time. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to get the hang of it, but hey, we can try, right?
Sticking with my outdoor theme, I’ve added some photos of Alex shot with a Photogenic Studio max AKB320 watt strobe with portable battery pack. I used a Photogenic 24″ silver beauty dish as modifier.
As I said in my previous post, I don’t usually bring anything outdoors with me. This is mostly a personal preference as I don’t like to lug around reflectors and strobes and things of that nature. For these shots, I did bring a reflector with me and threw it up.
Some photos from outdoors. Taken over the past year, these photos represent my outdoor shooting style. If you note, my outdoor work does NOT include hot shoe flash. It’s all about keeping your photos different and exciting. I think I get that via nothing artificial.
