Event Rules and Code of Ethics

Event Rules and Code of Ethics:

  • Most of them were spoken about inĀ  the about page, but I wanted to go over here a few things more in depth.
  • There will be no admittance to the event with out pre-payment. The payment covers the model fees and any studio fees. This is non-negotiable.
  • There will be a check off list to verify that you are in attendance
  • Unless the event is cancelled, refunds are not given. You can move your funds to another event of equal credit or use to pay towards a more expensive one(unless noted).
  • I run ego free events. I understand some are the greatest photographers ever, my mom says I’m the eight or ninth from the bottom artist she knows, but you don’t see me bragging
  • Be kind and courteous to everyone; not just models, but each other.
  • Help the shooter when they are shooting! If they need help.
  • If you aren’t shooting, then you should be watching to see poses, ideas and things that will help you when it’s your time to shoot.
  • If you bring your own flash transmitter, DO NOT USE IT WHEN OTHERS ARE SHOOTING!
  • When it is not your time to shoot, do not try and get the models attention. All models are coached that whomever is in front of them, is the ONLY person they are to respond to
  • You are free to shoot BTS and other angle shots, but don’t be creepy about it. Don’t shoot shots you know your model isn’t OK with. I’ll boot you and won’t lose sleep
  • Never touch the model. It’s best that even when they ask you to adjust them, don’t touch them. It’s just not worth it.
  • Be on time! Always be on time. It shows disrespect to the model, event organizer, other photographers and studio space if you’re late to an event. We won’t hold up for and most of your questions may be answered at the start. Forcing me to have to repeat myself.

More will be added as needed.
